Kohima, March 23 (MExN): The 7th All Nagaland Open Quiz Competition (ANOQC) was held at Japfü Christian College, Kigwema on March 18.
Pewsuthong K Yim from Yemhi Memorial College, Dimapur bagged the first position followed by AkamTikhir, Baptist College in the second position and Asangba, Japfü Christian College, taking the third place. The winners walked away with Cash prizes of rupees 10000, 5000 and 3000 respectively along with citations.
The college annually organizes the competition to create “General Knowledge Awareness” while also to encourage the spirit of open competition amongst Nagas both young and old. The initiative towards promoting quizzes and other competition is to inculcate professional aspirations and transparent acquisition of future occupational choices through legal entries.
The committee for ANOQC 2017 was Khrienuo Zhasa, Merangchang Mollier, Vineito Sale and Chitaranjan Wareppam.
