Kohima, April 11 (MExN): The 7th edition of EduFair 2024, organised by EduCentre Career Counselling (ECC) was held at De Oriental Grand Hotel, Kohima on April 11.

The inauguration was graced by Kethosituo Sekhose, Director of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland. In his address, he emphasised the importance of such fairs in providing valuable exposure and awareness to Naga students and parents. 

Sekhose underscored the dynamic nature of the education sector, highlighting the need for students and parents to stay abreast of evolving trends, industry requirements, and new courses that can pave the way for a stable and successful future. 

He lauded the participating institutions for their commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in Nagaland, recognising the fair as a pivotal platform for fostering educational growth and exploration. 

Rashna, a senior counselor from EduCentre, elaborated on the fair’s purpose, emphasising its role as a comprehensive platform for students to access a diverse range of courses offered by esteemed colleges and universities.

A total of 18 colleges and universities from across India participated in the fair. 

“Since its inception in 2018, EduFair has been instrumental in guiding and supporting over 5000 students by providing vital information about various courses, institutions, scholarships, placements, and study opportunities across India and abroad,” Atsung Sangtam, Manager, Entrepreneurship Trainer, ESB Business Incubation Centre, Dimapur stated in a press release.

The Knowledge Network, ABBS, Krupanidhi, and Manav Rachna were the main sponsors of the 7th EduFair.
