The Selection trial for Indian team (Tug-of- War) to participate in the World Outdoor Championships to be held in Nottingham, England from 4th to 7th September 2025, was held on June 11 to 12 at Assam Rifle ground, Kohima.
Tug- of- War Federation of India (TWFI) today announced that eight players from Nagaland have been selected for Men 680 Kg weight category.
As a prerequisite, a 15 days camp is to be organised at Kohima for necessary training under National coach, stated Madan Mohan, Secretary General, TWFI in a letter addressed to Dr.Er. Vekho Swuro, Convenor, Nagaland Tug- of- War Association.
The selected players from Nagaland includes; Vekuto Curhah, Rukuneyi Sapuh, Serayi Tetseo, Kuluvezo Soho, Khrukuto Swuro, Vetsuseto Shijoh, Mulevo Rose and Huluyi D. Vadeo.
