Zunheboto, October 23 (MExN): The 8th Inter Departmental Tournament got underway at Zunheboto on October 23 at DSCZ Indoor Stadium Zunheboto.
The inaugural function was attended by Nitovi Assumi, Secretary Sumi Hoho as special guest, a DIPR release stated.
During the inaugural programme, sports persons from Zunheboto district were felicitated for bringing laurels to the state and the district. The oath taking was administered by Hetoho S Zhimomi, member DSCZ.
All together 37 departments from Zunheboto district are participating in the three-day tournament in three disciplines, badminton, carom and table tennis. The tournament will culminate on October 25.
