Kohima, November 24 (MExN): The installation programme of the ‘re-organised’ office bearers of 8th Western Angami Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) was held on November 23 at its central office, Kohima.
During the programme, MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro expressed happiness over the smooth transition, though belatedly and urged the party workers to bury their hatchet and work unitedly, a press release informed.
Nakhro also requested the party workers to rise above the interest of the assembly constituencies, and work towards the largest interest of the party abiding by the directives of the party leaders, and to ensure the formation of the next government.
The programme was chaired by Prasielie Pienyü, Vice President And Convenor Re-Organisation Committee, while vote of thanks was proposed by Vikehielie Victor, Co-Convenor Re-Organisation Committee.
