Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): The Assam Rifles today said that one NSCN (K) military wing cadre was arrested along with one Pistol 7.65mm with live rounds and Extortion slips from Phek on April 16. The arrest was made during a joint search operation at Hebron Colony, Phek district by 9 AR under the aiges of HQ IGAR (North) along with 22 AR and police representative, an AR press note informed. The cadre, identified as one Lt. Vechita Vero (38 yrs) of Khuga village Phek, was later handed over to Phek Police Station for further investigation along with the recovered items, it added.
