Regional Ayurveda Research Centre, Dimapur celebrated the 9th Ayurveda Day at the conference hall, CMO building.

Dimapur, October 30 (MExN): The Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC), Dimapur celebrated the 9th Ayurveda Day at the conference hall, CMO building, with a series of activities emphasising the ancient science of Ayurveda and its significance in modern health and wellness. This year’s celebration highlighted the theme, “Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health.”
The event commenced with the traditional Dhanwantari Pooja, paying homage to the founder of Ayurveda, followed by a welcome address from Nikhil Krishna, Research Assistant (Botany).
Dr Deepak Rahangdale, Research Officer (Ayurveda), delivered a talk on the importance of Ayurveda in promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle. He emphasised Ayurveda’s relevance in today’s healthcare landscape and its role in preventive care and holistic wellness.
The programme also featured addresses from guests, including Dr Sentila Aier, Medical Officer at IAH, Dimapur, and Limasangla, from the Child Development Project Office, Dimapur.
The event concluded with a millets expo and a visit to the Herbal Garden. This was stated in a press release issued by Research Officer In-charge, Regional Ayurveda Research Centre, Dimapur.
