14 teams from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland confirm participation

Fourteen teams from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland have confirmed their participation for the forthcoming 9th Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament 2022 (Men & Women), commencing from November 9 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The tournament will feature 9 men and 5 women team. Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board (NKVIB) chairman Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu will grace the inaugural function as the special guest on November 9 at 12:00 noon.
Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) president Visasielie Suohu will deliver welcome address while KDVA technical committee member Visapa Yongo will administer oath to the participating teams
Kiruphema Youth Organization (KYO) will face St. Joseph’s College Jakhama in the opening match. The organizing committee requested all the teams to reach the venue by 11:00 AM on November 9. Technical briefing will be done on the same day. All the teams have been requested to come with their respective flags and sports kits.
Meanwhile, the organizing committee reminded all the concerned that there will be a one day refresher session cum training for referees (Both old & new batch) on November 8 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima from 9:00 AM onwards.
