Kohima, May 2 (MExN): In order to maintain the standard of the 9th Open Basketball Tournament, the organizers will hold a meeting with the confirmed teams and interested teams on May 7, 2:00 pm at Suncity Office, PMK Building, P. Khel, Kohima Village. A press release in this regard has requested all the team managers and coaches to attend the meeting positively. The tournament is being organised by the Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) and Suncity Club Kohima. The meeting briefing will discuss: • Coach briefing – such as coaching skills, technicalities and game rules and regulations • Manager Briefing – such as maintaining the standard of the teams and other do's and don'ts In lifting the game standards, the Organizing team will be highlighting how the tournament will be conducted by using Digital shot clocks and Digital scoreboards which will be a first of its kind in the state. The organising board also would like to introduce “Players Drafting” which will be used in the upcoming years to maintain a player’s individual record and provide player’s performance rank wise, the release stated.
