Six decades passed that Naga have struggled for our right. India Government and the world recognized the uniqueness of Naga history. The Naga and the world believed that we are not Indian. History and recent events declared that Naga have our own land, culture and tradition that are different to our dominion India .
Government of India feel the need to solve the Naga issue. But to India we are foster child and they treat us negatively in spite of our rights. They (GOI) concern more for her children Manipur , Assam and Arunachal and look down upon us for their political stability. Purposely, the GOI is playing delay tactics and divide and rule policy upon the Naga. In their mouth they show Love, express sincerity and concern, but inwardly they have something different. It is clear from the crisis at mao gate a month back.
However, Whatever the India or Manipur do, we can be the winner if we seek God and be reconciled among ourselves. At this juncture I don’t want to blame the GOI in a sense. It is we (Nagas) that make fall ourselves. It is Biblically true that if we are not united, reconciled among us we will be a failure and loser of the fight. God has set before us life or death. And we are the one who is to choose what or what. The need of the Naga of the hour is reconciliation and unity.
I would like to appreciate the FNR who is spear heading the Naga reconciliation. All society, tribes, factions, must support the convener Rev. Dr. Wati Aier and team so that they don’t give up but go forward with the effort until our aspiration are fulfilled, All social leaders, tribe leaders and factions need to realize the need and want of Naga people. No party whether it be NSCN I-M, NSCN-K, NNC or Unification can fulfill the aspiration of Naga people alone. Unless we all are united, all efforts will be in vain as beating the wind. We all need to humble ourselves, bow down to each other and forgive each other so as to become one. Without seeking God and reconciliation, Naga would be no people in near future. Words without action is a death faith that will produce no fruit.
I also would like to mention here that the social organizations like Naga hoho, UNC, ANSAM, NPO and Tribal hohos should not be a single sided organization but must be mass based organization covering all section of people, tribes, Factions etc. The proposed formation of ‘Think tank group’ is a supportable if it were endorse by representatives of every sections of organizations as written in the News paper dated 10/06/2010. Every must involve and join hand to fulfill our desired.
Dear Naga citizens, come let us reason together, and be united, forgiving each other. “Let this mind be in you which was in Christ”. What a lovely and powerful it would be if we (all Naga) fight together for our rights.
