Women are wiser than men, because they are more understanding. Men are the head of the house, they cannot bring happiness to the household, which must rest with women and it is their greatest privilege. It is the wives who can improve the husband, it is she who can mend his ways, who can cheer him up when he is depressed, it is she who can stand by his life faithfully and unswerving in success or failure.
A good woman is one who is helpful, affectionate and respectful. She should share with her husband as many of his activities as possible. She has to know his habits, temperaments, opinion and character etc. she must be capable of adjusting herself as far as possible or agree to differ if necessary. The responsibility of the wives is therefore great. The goodness in a husband comes out in its best form, if his wife helps him in his endeavor.
The present day women are enjoying more freedom than in the past. They work as Engineers, Doctors, Executives, Politicians, Lawyers, Administrators, Army and Airforce Officers etc. they share their husbands joy and sorrows on equal terms as the nearest relation of their husbands to overcome difficulties. The wife must so act that it increases the fortune of the husband.
A good woman inspires a man. A brilliant woman interests him. A beautiful woman fascinates him. A sympathetic woman gets him. Husbands are external ministers and the wife the Home minister. She should be strict economically.
Therefore, woman should strictly note the following points: Do not believe in everything you hear. Do not do everything you desire to do. Do not tell all you know. Do not buy everything you see. Do not use all you have; then the home will have a happy life. A mans best and worst fortune is his wife.
Wise woman have build homes. She has hewn out its seven pillars. The fallen woman is loud; she is undisciplined and without knowledge. Like a gold ring on a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion. A wise woman speaks with wisdom and faithful instructions in her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household. Woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor do men wear women’s for the Lord God detest anyone who does this. (Deu 22:5). The lord God said all such as are clothed with strange apparel shall be punished (Zeph 1:8).
