The tragic incident that occurred near silonijan (Assam) on September 15, where one person had lost its life and many innocent passengers of the bus were injured and harassed when a body guards of ADC (J) fired a bullet on the innocent passengers is purely a terrorist and barbaric act and it should be condemned out rightly.
The order and action of ADC (J) Mokokchung and his body-guards namely, Imo Ao and Havildar Temjen Ao that led to the murder of Late.Peter Yimchunger is indeed pre-planned in which after shooting a person to death many innocent and helpless passengers were harassed, tortured and beaten up for several hours.
Hence forth such criminals and terrorist persons in the guise of Government servants should be given stern action and punishment by the law by terminating their service and grant life imprisonment so that no such satanic act and criminal activities exist in this Christian state.
I also appeal to the state Government, NGOs, NMA, NPMHR, Naga Hoho, Tribal Hohos, NSF, TMSF, TMPO, NBCC and all the right thinking citizens to condemn such heinous act which is really shocking and horrifying. We the Nagas being God fearing and law abiding citizens, fully trust and handover this culprits to the state government to deliver justice at the earliest so that no one should live above the law and also to avoid ontoward incident’s in the near future. There is a saying that goes “by the sweat of thy brow, thy will earn thy bread”, so let this criminals reap what they sow.
I also convey my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and may God grant the departed soul to rest in peace.
