‘A precious moment’: Rhea Khemani HSLC top 2

For Rhea Khemani, finding out that she had come second was a bit of a surprise. A student of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, the topper explained that her expectations were quite low, “so it was a really precious moment to find out I came second.”

Rhea also doesn’t keep a study schedule. She started her studies one month before the exams and it basically went according to her tuitions. For her personal study, she used to study two hours in a day, she disclosed.

Rhea credited her success to her teachers, parents and her class teacher and science tuition teacher in particular. Her favourite subject is Mathematics and she plans to pursue Commerce stream. She loves writing and sketching during her free time.

Leaving a message for her juniors, Rhea advised them to, “Believe in yourselves and with time, you will realise your worth and your capabilities.”
