Participants with the theme speaker and lecturers at the talk- ‘Folktales Retold’ organized by Sao Chang College on April 24.
DIMAPUR, APRIL 25 (MExN): Sao Chang College Hostel Committee presented a talk on the theme ‘Folktales Retold’ on April 24 at Evangelical Union Hall, SCC.
C. Sangjeu Lushing, President, Khiamniungan Cultural Club, Tuensang who was the speaker of the occasion elaborated on the difference of social life between male and female. He also highlighted on the marriage system and explained the meaning and construction of the Morung. He concluded his talk by narrating the origin and importance of log drum which was followed by an interaction session.
The programme was chaired by Jephoi and invocation pronounced by Tain. Tsongtile sangtam gave a welcome address and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks by K. Vidila Jing, Warden Girls’ Sochum. This was informed in a press release issued by the media cell, Sao Chang College.
