Members of the Women’s Society, KLBC presenting a ‘song of resurrection’ on the occasion of Easter Sunday on April 4.
KOHIMA, APRIL 4 (MExN): “Easter is a time to believe and pray to God and ask Him to forgive us and shower his endless love, joy and peace in our life till we meet him,” said Reverend Pastor N Silubo Zeliang on April 4.
He said this at the celebration of Easter Sunday at the Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church, D Block at the Church premises. During the celebration, he shared the gospel and encouraged the Church congregation by stating that “today the believers of Jesus are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
Rev Pastor N Silubo further said the “resurrection of Jesus Christ has vanished every evil thought and removed all the obstacles in our life from the cross and Jesus’ resurrection and Easter brings all goodness in life and Easter gives us hope and renewal of life.”
The Kohima Liangmai Baptist Church also held an Easter feast with a special prayer coinciding with the NBCC’s ‘day of prayer.’
