AAA team visits NEISSR for assessment

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 20 (MExN): The Academic Administrative Audit (AAA) team visited North East Institute Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) on August 16. The purpose of their visit was to examine and assess the institution's administrative procedures and quality assurance. 

The team consisted of Dr Watijungshi, Rtd. Additional Director of Higher Education (Convener AAA Team); Dr RK Behera, Principal, Livingstone Foundation International College (AAA Member); and Dr Vitsosie Vupru, Principal, Kohima College (AAA Member). 

A short session was held at 10:00 am, moderated by Elizabeth Pojar, Assistant Professor at NEISSR. Dr Toli H Kiba, Assistant Professor, started the session with a word of prayer. This was followed by a welcome address and introductory session by Fr Lawrence Khing, Vice Principal of NEISSR. Fr Khing expressed his gratitude to the AAA team for visiting NEISSR and emphasized the institute's commitment to providing quality education and meeting the needs of its students. He introduced the members of the AAA team and presented them with tokens of appreciation and love from the institute.

After the introductory session, Rev Dr Fr CP Anto, Principal of NEISSR, along with the AAA members, proceeded to the conference hall for a presentation by Elizabeth Pojar. She spoke about the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of NEISSR. Following the presentation, the AAA team had the opportunity to interact with the faculty, Students' Council, class representatives, and non-teaching staff of NEISSR. 

Representatives from various clubs and forums within the institute, such as the Music Club, Literary Club, Green Club, Media Club, Cultural Club, Red Ribbon Club, Electoral Club, Community Development Forum, Youth Forum, Peace Forum, Social Entrepreneurship Forum, NSS (National Service Scheme), Research Publication, Fieldwork Study, as well as faculty and student publications, presented on the various activities they had carried out. The AAA team engaged in interactive sessions and conducted inspections until 4:30 PM.

At the end of the visit, the principal extended his gratitude to the AAA team, management, governing board, IQAC, faculty, Students' Council, and non-teaching staff for their contribution.
