Aadhaar enrolment and update services at Kisama

Kohima, December 1 (MExN): The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Regional Office Guwahati, in collaboration with the Nagaland State Government, has set up an Aadhaar Enrolment and Update stall at the 25th Hornbill Festival 2024 in Kisama Heritage Village. The stall, located at Stall No. 27 on the ground floor of the Handloom Pavilion/Bamboo Pavilion, will operate from December 1 to December 10.

The stall offers various Aadhaar-related services, including enrolment, updates of demographic details such as name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number, or email ID, and biometric data updates like photo, fingerprints, and iris scans. Parents can also complete mandatory biometric updates for children aged 5 and 15 years to strengthen their Aadhaar credentials. For children below five years, the Aadhaar of one parent and the child’s birth certificate are required.

Residents can also download and print Aadhaar at the stall. Visitors must bring original documents, which will be scanned and returned after verification.

For a complete list of acceptable supporting documents, residents can visit the official UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in.
The initiative aims to facilitate easy access to Aadhaar services for residents attending the Hornbill Festival.
