Dimapur, January 31 (MExN): The All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) will be holding a sit in demonstration programme at Dispur Lastgate, Guwahati on February 1. AAGSU, Information & Publicity Secretary, Nanda Kirati Dewan informed that the sit in demonstration has been called to press for AAGSU’s fundamental demand formation of the Gorkha Autonomous Council (GAC) on satellite basis within the geographical entity of Assam and various other demand that includes amicable solution of the disturbing border dispute, arrest inflation most importantly sky rocketing price of essential commodities, provide adequate security to lives and security of common man and etc. and in support of the proposed peace talks with all the extremists organization of Assam to restore peace and harmony in the state.
