AAI Dimapur distributes rice, donates toilet block

Dimapur Airport Director, M Zhimo distributes rice to surrounding six villages of Diphupar, Kirha, Chekiye, Darogapathar, Aoyomti and Hollohon.

Dimapur, May 11 (MExN): Under the initiative of Sanjeev Jindal, Regional Executive Director AAI NER Guwahati, AAI Dimapur distributed rice to surrounding six villages of Diphupar, Kirha, Chekiye, Darogapathar, Aoyomti and Hollohon. They also covered orphanage home, migrant and contractual/casual workers in airport under corporate environmental responsibility scheme. Rice was distributed to the migrants and casual workers on May 8. 

Dimapur Airport Director, M Zhimo accompanied by Moatemjen Pongen, AGM (Electrical) and BK Soreng, AGM (Civil) of Dimapur distributed food grain to Kirha and Hollohon village on May 11. 

“Distribution of rice to Diphupar, Chekiye, Darogapathar and Aoyimti village will also take place in next few days in coordination with village authorities,” stated the AAI Dimapur representatives. 

Meanwhile, a community toilet block constructed by AAI Dimapur under corporate social responsibility was also handed over to the Kirha village by M Zhimo, Airport Director Dimapur in the presence of Moatemjen Pongen AGM (Electrical), BK Soreng AGM (Civil) and Council Chairman and GB of Kirha village on May 11.
