DIMAPUR, JANUARY 31 (MExN): The Nagaland State unit of the Aam Admi Party (AAP) said that the BJP is “not sincere” in finding a solution to the Naga political issue.
“Finding a solution for this complex issue of election before solution we should not forget that Nagaland was born under 16 point agreement under Article 371(A). Under this provision this matter can be referred in the parliament which is on. This way we can differ the election if we are willing to solve the complex Naga issue, but BJP is not sincere,” a press note from the AAP Nagaland stated.
It appealed to the Naga people to “understand how we are being fooled by these leaders to divert the attention of Nagas from the corruption which they practice together. Again they want to install the government, so that for another 5 years common state of the people should suffer under their government.”
Meanwhile the AAP opined that the ECI “should have taken the views of the legislator before declaring elections in Nagaland.”
