Dimapur, June 22 (MExN): A team of Aam Admi Party (AAP) Nagaland today provided relief to the people affected by water logging in the railway station area at Manipuri Basti here. The team distributed mineral drinking water, provisions, medicines, and phenols.
A press release from Dr. S. Amos Lkr, convenor, AAP Nagaland said that the team interacted with the people and collected firsthand information on the real situation. They also took part in opening blocked and damaged drainage along with the residents.
The release informed that the party will submit a detailed report to the District Administration and the State government requesting them to initiate immediate relief works and rehabilitation of the affected public and reopening and rebuilding the damaged and blocked drainage in the area.
The aid materials were sponsored by party workers, wholesalers and well-wishers in and around Dimapur, according to the release.
