A formal partnership between the apex Ao Church body, the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), and the Korean Church is all set to take off. This was announced by Rev. Barnabas C S Moon, founder and Executive Director of Withee Missionary International, South Korea, during a brief speech at the Golden Jubilee programme of the Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) on Sunday.
Speaking of the deepening ties between Korean and Naga Churches, Rev Moon expressed hope that the two communities can work together. Rev Moon informed about the ABAM-Korean Pastor exchange programme, which is planned to take off. Earlier, ABAM Executive Secretary Rev. O Alem introduced Rev. Moon and his delegation to the gathering.
Later, the Korean Church leader presented a commemorative inscription to the ABAM Executive Secretary as a sign of the alliance. A similar memento was also presented to Dr. T Lima Jamir, former Chairman of Nagaland Development Outreach (NDO) as recognition of his contribution to improving ties with the Korean Church.
