DIMAPUR, JUNE 27 (MExN): The Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) has pledged to contribute financially to the foothill road construction from Kilma, Peren to Tizit, Mon.
In a letter addressed to the Nagaland Chief Minister, ABAM executive secretary Mar Atsongchanger while acknowledging the state government for taking up the foothill road construction project, said it also wish to contribute an amount of Rs 36, 56, 282 lakh (thirty six lakh fifty thousand two hundred and eighty two) towards the foothill road construction project.
It termed the road project as an important life line for Nagas and all neighboring states for all purposes. While assuring its support to the ongoing road construction, ABAM has requested the Chief Minister to personally supervise the project in order ensure that it completes within the stipulated time.
