Impur, March 17 (MExN): A special programme for the Associate Pastor Women and Dorka Cell was organised by the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) Women Ministry from March 15-17 in Impur. The Dorka Cell is a married women's group 45 years of age and below under the constituent of ABAM Women's Ministry.
Altogether 908 delegates comprising of Associate Pastor Women and Dorka Cell members from 117 churches attended the programme.
As young mothers play an integral part in the progress of the family and the church, good management is conducive to the holistic progress of the family, informed a press release from ABAM.
The mothers hold an impeccable position to bring about inextricable happiness within the family and wholeness of society grossly depends on the status of the family, it said.
Accordingly, perceiving its importance, ABAM Women's Ministry organised the programme to promote young mothers with God-fearing education, it added.
Rev Tiatoshi Longkümer Pastor, KABA; Dr Samuel Longkümer, Administrator, SCM, Dimapur; Imtilemla Longkümer, Principal, Impur Bible Seminary; Alemla Mozür, Secretary, ABAM WM; and T Arenla Longkümer, Coordinator, ABAM WM were the speakers at the event.
The crux of their sharing was to be proactive and sober in dealing with everyday life, to avoid imbroglio in a fast-paced world that looks for position, fame, and honour with all the advancement available, the release said.
“As they take on the responsibility to nurture themselves and bring reflection to the church and society, may God guide them in every step they take,” added the release issued by Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM
