Dimapur, February 19 (MExN): ABAM Youth Ministry (YM) Next Gen Leaders Training "Lead Like Jesus" was held at Don Bosco Institute of Development & Leadership (DBIDL), Dimapur from February 14 -17.
The facilitators were from Lead Like Jesus, India. A press release from ABAM Executive Secretary, Rev Dr Mar Atsongchanger said that ABAM YM has been organizing this programme from 2019 “with the objective to train young leaders whose leadership will be in the footsteps of our greatest leader Jesus Christ, who with all humility took upon the human nature and offered his life as ransom for men.”
It teaches a leader not to be self-centered, which is the greatest enemy to success but cultivate servant hood attitude to provide maximum weight towards spiritual and social maturity of our society, the release said.
Altogether, 83 young leaders from 14 local churches attended, out of which 14 young leaders have been given special training to be the facilitators of the programme.
