Dimapur, January 8 (MExN): As part of the ongoing Family Therapy, the Awakening Bells Center (ABC) Kohima organised a two-day workshop on January 5 and 6 on the theme “Healing the Inner-child”, a programme which provides insights to participants to learn to love oneself through healing the wounds of the past.
ABC Managing Board Chairperson, Neidonuo Angami in a press release informed that the workshop was facilitated by a highly experienced family therapist and trainer, Julie Tan of Malaysia and assisted by Esther Lim of Malaysia. Participants of the workshop took active part in learning to understand family dynamics and analysing their family tree and shared with each other their stories. The workshop was participatory in nature and hence it was very lively and intimate. Everyone who participated gained much from each other’s stories and experiences. The facilitator also provided private sessions to those who needed individual therapy.
ABC is committed to continue to provide such space and opportunities for personal and family development and learning throughout this year, the release further added.
