Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): Natak FC blanked Trinity Sporting 2-0 on the inaugural day of the Above Thirty-Five League Season 7 (formerly known as CASE Premier League) at DDSC Stadium on September 24.

A goal from Thaingamlong in the first half and an own goal by Trinity custodian Aning sealed the fate of the defending champions.

In the other match of the day, Nizams FC fought back brilliantly to come from behind and beat Super Strikers 4-2. The match witnessed a brace from Peter, a single from Lipok, and an own goal from Lhoulavolie for the Nizams while Ramesh and Vayu scored for the Strikers. 

Under the theme “Beyond Friendship, Beyond Fitness and Beyond Football”, the unregistered football league was started with the sole aim of promoting fitness and friendship through football for non-professionals above 35 years of age. The matches are played on Saturdays at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur.
