The golden jubilee celebration of the Angami Baptist Pastor Dikon Krotho (ABPDK – Pastors & Deacons Organisation) will commence on January 13 at Shalom Bible Seminary, Sechü Zubza.
The speakers for the celebration will be Rev Dr. Atsi Dolie, Executive Director, Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC); Rev Keviyiekelie Linyü, Pastor, Ebenezer Baptist Church Kohima; Rev Ketsozeho Sale, President, Japfüphiki Pastor Dikon Krotho; and Rev Miazielie Sakhrie, Pastor, Kuda Village Baptist Church.
Over one thousand pastors and deacons from all the churches under ABCC are expected to attend the three-day celebration from January 13-15, which is being hosted by Sechü Zubza Baptist Church.
Apart from pastors and deacons, youth members from various churches will also be making their participation, particularly during the special youth programme arranged on Saturday afternoon.
The inauguration of the APBDK 50 year’s monolith Friday at 1 pm will mark the commencement of the jubilee celebration, with the dedicatory prayer to be offered by Rev Tsolie Chase, Pastor of Khonoma Baptist Church.
The lighting of the jubilee torch will be formally done by Sakralie Rio, the Pastor of Tsiemekhuma Baptist Church.
Meanwhile, all churches and range councils are asked to bring their respective flags, while it has also been informed that a registration fee of Rs 100 will be charged from all pastors and deacons.
Pastors and deacons who have served in the past years are also invited to attend the celebration. All the churches have been requested to come along with the names of those deceased pastors and deacons who served from December 2, 2015 till January 13, 2017.
The churches have also been reminded to bring along with them the offering collected on November 27 on the occasion of ABCC pastors and deacons day.
