Kohima, October 4 (MExN): The All Contact-Combat Arts (ACA) Club organized two-day Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotional programme from October 2 to 3 last with Razeba Range Open Naga Wrestling League 2017.
The MMA promo event was followed by "MMA and Belt Wrestling" Seminar on October 3. The seminar was attended by wrestling participants of Razeba Range.
The seminar mainly focused on promoting MMA sport in Nagaland was led by the organizing ACA club which deliberated on the concept of Martial Arts as a sport and not about violence.
Khuming Khiam and Vire Nukhu of ACA club conducted the MMA session while the various wrestling disciplines were conducted by Sürhoneyi Soho.
The subjects in the wrestling seminar included Judo, Free style Wrestling, Belt wrestling and rules and regulations of Referee and Judge newly adopted by the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA). The seminar was attended by villages and town wrestling associations and wrestlers of Razeba Range of Phek District.
