Dimapur, January 5 (MExN): In its continued crusade against corruption, ACAUT has appealed for contributions by way of donation to further the cause.
In a press release, the Media Cell, ACAUT stated that the year 2017 presents enormous tasks and challenges ahead of us. “ACAUT Nagaland would be filing PIL’s on the fuel adulteration, PDS scam in the Food & Civil Supplies department as well as other cases in other departments,” the release stated adding that these cases will be fought in the court of Law.
The release added that ACAUT will again embark on a tour of the districts for Awareness Campaign on Corruption and Clean Election, “all of which will incur huge expenditures”.
“This year will be without doubt the most decisive year in the fight for change and there has never been a more critical time than now,” it stated while calling on people to donate and make contributions.
“Every single penny contributed toward cause will be accounted for,” it assured adding that audit reports will be presented to the public on a regular basis.
