ACAUT supports NTUCT move to disallow police training in Chümou

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 11 (MExN): The Against Corruption and Unabated Taxation (ACAUT) Nagaland today extended its support to the Naga Tribal Union Chümoukedima Town’s (NTUCT) move to disallow the upcoming police training for new recruits at the Police Training School (PTS) and Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre (NAPTC) scheduled to begin from February 14.

“What is shocking about the revelation by the NTUCT is the shrewd manipulation of accommodating more backdoor appointees than of supposed 208 appointments through open recruitment. What can citizens expect of new law enforcers who have dodged public advertisement to enforce equality before law without any fear or favour?” a press release from the ACAUT media cell stated.

Expressing support to the NTUCT, the ACAUT said that the matter should be pursued judiciously.
