Nagaland University inspection team visited MGM College, Dimapur for renewal of affiliation.
Dimapur, April 30 (MExN): The Nagaland University (NU) inspection team visited MGM College, Dimapur for renewal of affiliation. During the visit, a short welcome programme was conducted in the college auditorium for the NU inspection team including Prof AK Mishra, Department of Commerce, Prof Y Ben Lotha, Department of History and Archaeology and Prof MA.J Khan, Department of English.
Prof Mishra, Convenor of the inspection team emphasised on the basic foundations of learning and education in order to tackle any challenges in life. Prof Mishra encouraged the students to make learning their mission, achieve and contribute as such. He also emphasised on the need for such a platform and a good conducive environment.
A confabulation session was held between the inspection team, NU and the facilitators’ (MGM College).
Dr Vili Kibami, Assistant Prof Department of Sociology led the programme. Delivering the welcome address Rev Fr Dr PS Varghese, Principal, MGM College briefed on the history of the St Thomas society and the history of the college and welcomed the inspection team from NU.
Further, the team conducted physical verification of the infrastructure and also interacted with faculty members and founding society members.
