Wokha, May 21 (MExN): ACAUT Wokha Unit along with frontal organisation held a joint emergency meeting on May 20 at LTC Hall Wokha. After a long deliberation the house decided to stand firm on Naga public resolution of October 31, 2013 rally for ‘One Government; One taxation’.
Basing on this resolution, ACAUT Wokha unit and frontal organizations has decided to take up the current issue of taxation to the business establishments, the notice served to HODs to deduct 24% from the Government employees, village councils and VDBs by the “NSCN (IM) Wokha Town Commander cum ZCO Wokha.”
ACAUT Wokha Unit Media Cell informed in a press release that in this regard, the house had resolved and warned all HODs not to deduct 24% from any of the Government employees and if any of the HODs found deducting the illegal taxation from their employees the concerned officer will be charged and FIR will be lodged against the concerned officer and will be reported to the higher authorities.
Further, the house has passed resolution that if any of the NPGs or faction, person caught indulging or collecting any kind of illegal taxation in and around Wokha District, the concerned will be held totally responsible for any eventuality that arise and for which the ACAUT will not be responsible.
