Dimapur, November 8 (MExN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) President, K Therie has condoled the passing away of Obendangba Longkumer, President, 26-Aonglenden, ACCC, Mokokchung.
Obendangba Longkumer was an unwavering pillar of the Congress party through the most difficult of times. He was a leader who led his people with a clear and strong vision, Therie stated in a condoence message.
“His sincerity in implementing and furthering the programs and policies of the Congress party and his loyal sacrifices in upholding the principles and ideologies of the party will be long remembered and cherished. In his passing away, the Congress party has lost a role model and a pillar of strength,” he stated.
The rank and file of NPCC conveyed heartfelt condolences and added, “It is our prayer that the Almighty God comforts the bereaved family through this painful time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
