Dimapur, October 17 (MExN): In yet another case of community-driven ‘settlements’ the 13 IRB and Urra Area Villages’ Union, today informed that case concerning the October 13 accident near Murise village which left two persons killed “has been amicably settled.” On October 13, a 13th IRB truck and a bike were involved in an accident which left two of the bike’s riders killed. “The matter has been amicably settled between both the parties. It is therefore requested that no case be registered in this connection,” a note addressed to the Traffic Control authorities of Dimapur, from the force and the union said Monday. The note was appended by Deputy Commandant of the 13th IRB Vekhosa and president of the villages’ union Velasuzo Shijo.
