Dimapur, April 15 (MExN): Noyel Yousuf, accused of raping a Naga girl in Hyderabad, reportedly pursued the girl for about a month before he forcefully took her to his place on April 10 where he raped her. The source added that the guy used to threaten the girl when she did not reciprocate his wishes. “She is a nice lady. She does not deserve this,” said the source.
The Express News Service report today said that Yousuf had wanted to kill the girl after she rejected his proposal to become his girlfriend. While Yousuf, 20 years old engineering student at Osmania University is under police custody, the victim is waiting for a court hearing which has not been scheduled yet.
Media reports said that on April 10 evening, Yousuf went to the victim’s place and threatened to commit suicide if she did not come out of the house. When the girl did, he forcefully took her to his house and raped her. The girl lodged an FIR on April 11 and after medical reports confirmed rape. Yousuf was arrested on April 12.
