Act of Kindness Society’s Magnum Opus VI held virtually

The Act of Kindness Society conducted its Magnum Opus VI, a virtual Art & Music Festival 2020, by going live on its Facebook and Instagram page to announce the different categories of winners at 5PM on October 25.   

According to a press release from the society, the sixth edition of the Magnum Opus saw enthusiastic responses and active participations in all categories of competition.  

The Live show was hosted by Imli Lee, while a keynote address was given by Supong Imchen and a special song by Alika K Achumi.

The results were declared by Matsunginla, Abigail Odyuo & Imli Lee while  Adrian Mahung gave vote of thanks.

Here are winners in different categories: 

Short Story Writing Competition: A total of 48 participants registered and 47 submitted their works on time. 

1st – Renu Thapa  - ‘My Child’ (Rs 5,000)

2nd – Rite-u Tsuhah Mero -  The Old Factory (Rs 2000)

2 Consolation Winners- 
Moali Pongen  - A Cup of Tea
Longjenthi Longkumer - ‘A City of Stories’

Art Illustrated Short & Painting Competition Story Competition:
A total of 51 participants registered for Art Illustrated Short Story & Painting Competition and 26 Submitted works on time.

Art Illustrated Short Story
1st – Mannyei Phom (Rs 8,000)
2nd – Yanpothung Y Shitio (Rs 4,000)

Painting Competition
1st – Joyce Ao (Titled- “Anxiety Attack”), Rs 10,000
2nd – Chichanbeni Kithan (Titled- “To Belong”), Rs 5,000

Original Song Competition
A total of 24 participants registered. 
The winner, Chubatemsu Kichu won Rs 10,000 packed with Audio & Video Recording Contract.  The winner  will be directly nominated for the Music Awards of Nagaland 2021.

Photography Competition 
1st – Keyi Putlang (Rs 5000)
2nd – Imchanungla Kichu (Rs 3000)

Cosplay Competition
Best Cosplayer: Reuben Z Hnamte cosplayed as Robin (Rs 10,000)
Best Performer: Rebecca Tep cosplayed as Gothic Lolita (Rs 5,000)
Best Innovative/ Creative Character (Male): Malhav Yadav cosplayed as Naomasa (Gift Hamper worth Rs 5,000)
Best Innovative/ Creative Character (Female): Shima Angom cosplayed as Nico Yazawa (Gift Hamper worth Rs 5,000)
