Peren, October 8 (MExN): ADC Jalukie, Dr Tinojongshi Chang has notified that in view of the detection of COVID-19 positive persons through TrueNat screening test and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, a house located at New Jalukie Village under Jalukie Sub-Division is sealed with effect from October 7 till further order and another house located at Kedime Colony (Ward No-5) under Jalukie Town jurisdiction has been sealed for 48 hours with effect from October 7.
Also a house located at Ndining ward under Peren Town has been sealed with effect from October 7 till further order.
The ADC has advised all to follow all safety precautions of wearing masks at all time, frequently washing hands and maintain social/physical distancing to ensure public hygiene and personal safety within the proximity of the sealed areas.
“Any person violating this order will be liable to be persecuted as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC,” the ADC added.
