Pughoboto, January 31 (DIPR): Returning Officer of Pughoboto, Tiayanger Jamir in an order has directed all vehicle owners to whom vehicle requisition order for election duty had been issued by the ADC & DEO Pughoboto to submit their vehicle documents (in original) to the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Pughoboto on or before February 5 during office hours. Failure to comply with this order shall invite action as per Sec. 167 of the Representation of People Act 1951. Hence all the vehicle owners have been directed to comply with the order.
Randomization of EVMs: In supersession of the earlier order, ADC & DEO of Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho has informed all the recognised political parties under Pughoboto Assembly Constituency that First Randomization of EVMs and VVPATs for the General Election to the 13th Legislative Assembly will be carried out on February 2 at 11:00 am in the office of ADC, Pughoboto. All recognised political parties have been directed to send representative to be present for the same.
