Pungro, February 2 (MExN): In an effort to accelerate the ongoing road widening and upgradation work on 02 (Zero Two) Road before the monsoon season, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pungro, Vekusheyi Rhakho, has issued an order imposing vehicular restrictions on the said road from February 1 to February, between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. During the specified period, the contractors will be conducting earth cutting work in between 9 KM Camp and New Vongti junction. Commuters and commercial vehicles plying along this route have been informed to take note of the restriction hours to avoid inconvenience.
Light vehicles, including passenger vehicles (Sumo Taxi) have been advised to utilize the alternative route via Tetheze (Tetheze Road) during the aforementioned period.
