Additional Dev Commissioner accorded farewell

Kohima, February 1 (DIPR): Farewell Reception Ceremony in honour of Aolemla Jamir, Additional Development Commissioner was held on January 31 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Nosazol Charles, Joint Development Commissioner. The programme began with the invocation prayer by N. Joory, Assistant Development Commissioner.  

M. Patton, Commissioner & Secretary, Planning & Coordination, Kevileno Angami, OSD, Planning &Coordination, and Mhonbemo Patton, Principal Accountant General, (AG Office) on the occasion shared speeches in honour of the retiring officer, Aolemla Jamir. Among other groups who graced the occasion were the Kohima Watsu Unit, friends and family.  

Farewell speeches were also delivered by Chorayi Veyie, Planning Officer on behalf of NPMSA; and Pudusol, DPO, Kiphire spoke on behalf of District Representative. Host of other officers and friends spoke on the occasion The outgoing Additional Development Commissioner Aolemla Jamir, while delivering her farewell speech, appreciated each and every officers and staff of the Department. Reminiscing her time, she acknowledged the role played by the different officials working as a team, she credited her achievement in the support provided by the officers and staff for their unceasing support during her tenure. Recollecting her many years of her service life; she shared her experiences on the developmental challenges faced by the State and stated that she is retiring from active service with a wealth of knowledge. She also wished the Department for future success and to continue to work together with an encouraging team spirit.   Special numbers was presented by E.M. Lotha, Assistant Development Commissioner. Opangtula, Joint Development Commissioner gave the vote of thanks.
