Kohima, February 26 (MExN): Kohima Deputy Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie has notified that additional land measuring 368.5201 acres at Ciethu, Ciechama under Kohima district is required for acquisition/outright purchase for the Ciethu-Chiechama Airport.
In this connection, the DC, in exercise of the power conferred by Section 9(2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition Acquisition Act, 1965, under the authorization of the State Government as competent authority, has notified any person/party having any claim/objection over the said area, to submit the same to the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima within a period of 30 days, with effect from the issue date of the notification (February 24, 2020).
