Adhoc teachers censure insincerity of govt to resolve issue

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 29 (MExN): The All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group –ANATG 2015 Batch has censured the state government for its inconsiderate attitude in resolving the long standing issue of the adhoc teachers.

A press release issued by ANATG-2015 batch lamented that despite so many meetings, discussions and deliberations; the state government was not taking any initiative to come out with a solution which can be accepted by both the parties in a consensual manner.

Also citing instances of the insincerity of the government, it claimed that at the meeting held on September 26, 2018, the adhoc teachers were guaranteed by the department headed by the Advisor, that a Cabinet meeting was scheduled on September 28, 2018 vide Cabinet Circular NO: CAB-2/2013 (pt) Dated Kohima the 26th Sept. 2018.

The meeting was deferred until further notice and then rescheduled to September 29, 2018. While anticipating that the government would discuss their demands , the adhoc teacher lamented that even though the meeting was held, nothing related to their issue were discussed. While stating that the struggle by the ANATG -2015 Batch has taken its toll on the members mentally, physically and financially, the adhoc teachers has however vowed to continue with the struggle to secure justice.
