Adhoc teachers rejects enhancement of fixed pay, demands regularization

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 6 (MExN): The All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group-2015 Batch has rejected the enhancement of fixed pay salary enforced by the Nagaland Government while alleging discrimination to its batch.

In a representation addressed to the Principal Secretary, School Education, the adhoc teachers of 2015 batch questioned why the 1166 adhoc teachers appointed against the vacant state sanctioned post prior to December 31, 2012 were granted a meager fixed pay salary but those appointed under the same category w.e.f 1-7-2017 were granted Scale of Pay Vide Order NO: DSE/ADHOC-SALARY/2015 dated Kohima the 13th October 2017.

It also stated that the Office Memorandum NO: CAB-2/2013(Pt) dated Kohima the 29th August 2018, on the enhancement of fixed pay salary has been enforced by the government without any considerations of its sole demand without any consideration to their demand for ‘regularization.’

The adhoc teachers further stated that they had appeared for the suitability test for ‘regularization’ and not for enhancement of fixed pay salary to double fixed pay salary neither for scale of pay.
