Adieu to a brother in uniform

All seem unfair, in life's journey, when one has to go through a painful reality of parting from loved ones.... Much against our wishes and perhaps the most difficult experience to come to terms with.

Amid the challenges of a pandemic wherein everyone stands vulnerable and embroiled in their share of apprehensions, we the Naga Officers' Defence Fraternity of the Indian Armed Forces express our sincere gratitude to everyone who shied away their cares to give a befitting tribute to our 'Brother' Lt Col (Late) Robert, during his final journey home.

Though words aren't enough to console for a loss of this nature yet we the Naga Defence Officers' Fraternity, comprising 98 approx (serving and retired), would like to assure the equally brave family members of Lt Col (Late) Robert TA of our support and at all times.

Lt Col Robert TA Kuba lost his life when his patrol was hit by an avalanche in North Sikkim on May 14. The patrol was part of a snow clearance party.

On behalf of Naga Defence Officers' Fraternity,
Lt Col L Vincent Patton
PRO, HQ IGAR (N)
