Kohima, September 20 (MExN): Family Planning Association (FPA) India Nagaland Branch conducted Adolescents Education Programme Plus (AEP+) at Government Middle School, L Khel Kohima Village on September 20. FPA India Nagaland Branch in a press release stated that during the session, the resource persons along with other important topics also emphasized on the negative impact of bullying on an individual’s personal life and mental health and also shared on the significance of good communication as an important life skill.
It also added that the focus of FPA of India has been not only on sexual and reproductive health but increased attention is also been given to address unhealthy lifestyles, mental health and violence with AEP+ as one of the many programmes to reach out to young people and adolescents in order to provide accurate information so that they are able to make informed decisions. With this purpose, FPA India has been reaching out to young people over the years.
