Adventure activities at Sükrünye Mini Hornbill

The adventure and outdoor activities as part of the Sükrünye Mini Hornbill got underway today at Tizu River near Phek town.


Flagging of the event, Veyielo Doulo, Deputy Director, Directorate of Tourism Nagaland expressed his happiness over the Phek Town Youth Society for incorporating adventure activities.


Expressing happiness over the introduction of boating & bamboo rafting competition in this festival, he encouraged the PTYS to carry forward such activities in the coming days as well.


He assured that the Tourism Department would always encourage cultural tourism, agro tourism, adventure tourism and eco tourism in the state.


In the rafting competition, Hebron -1 colony came first while Mission Compound and New Colony came second and third respectively. Other activities included ziplining and water zorbing.
