Mon, August 16 (MExN): The Advisor, School Education KT Sukhalu (IAS Retd) visited Government Higher Secondary School, Tizit on August 15. He visited the school along with the Additional Director and Deputy Director of School Education Department and SDEO, Tizit.
It was stated in a DIPR report that the Tizit Area Students Union (TASU) apprised the Advisor about the condition of the lone Government Higher Secondary school in Tizit which is presently functioning in a girl’s hostel, constructed in 1981. The school was upgraded to higher secondary in 2011.
TASU appealed to the concerned department and submitted a memorandum to the Advisor, for the construction of the Higher Secondary school building. Sukhalu assured to look into the matter and do the required work at the earliest. He lauded GHSS, Tizit for the good results that it has produced and encouraged them to do better.
