Pfütsero, September 1 (MExN): The Chakhesang Baptist Church Council and Lightway Society, Pfütsero in collaboration with the Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA Nagaland) jointly organized an advocacy programme on HIV AIDS at CBCC Conference Hall T. Chikri Pfütsero on August 30.
Dr. Vinito L. Chishi, State Consultant, LFA Nagaland, Dr. Rupfühu Rose, Public Health Consultant, Nagaland Health Project (World Bank), Hukatoli, Administrator, LFA Nagaland, Kuduvo Kezo, District Program Officer, DAPCU Phek and Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, Executive Secretary, CBCC were the resource persons. CBCC, Executive Secretary, Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo in a press release said that the seminar was specifically conducted for the church workers under CBCC to create awareness about the threat of HIV AIDs in society. In response to the challenge of such threat, members attended have resolved to address appropriately by educating members of our churches and taking care of those who have special needs.
A total of 96 church leaders attended the programme.
