Wokha, July 29 (MExN): Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA) organised one day advocacy programme on HIV & AIDS at Witter Theological College Vankhosung, Wokha on July 26. Giving a PowerPoint presentation on HIV/AIDS Scenario, Dr. Vinito L. Chishi, State Consultant, LFA-Nagaland shared the concern on increasing number of HIV infection in the State. He shared on the roles and responsibility of the Church on HIV/AIDS, and encouraged the students who are preparing to enter into Christian Ministry, to make use of their leadership opportunity by taking positive initiatives in addressing the issues related to HIV/AIDS with regard to reducing stigma, discrimination and prevention aiming towards creating an AIDS free generation in the days to come. Hukatoli from LFA shared on the Risk Factor and Social Concern and Responsibility with particular emphasis on its consequences, challenges and importance of responsible living. Earlier, introduction and opening prayer was done by Dr. Moanungsang, Principal, WTC and closing prayer by Academic Dean Talinungsang. All the students and faculty members of the college attended the programme.
